Bouliga produce two kinds of dermal fillers: Biphasic hyaluronic acid filler and Monophasic hyaluronic acid filler.
Monophasic hyaluronic acid contains only cross-linked hyaluronic acid.
Biphasic hyaluronic acid is a mixture of cross-linked hyaluronic acid and non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid.
Monophasic and biphasic are made using different methods. Monophasic hyaluronic acid is a fully cross-linked hyaluronic acid that is made by grinding the gel block into a smoother gel for direct injection, without the involvement of liquid. In contrast, biphasic hyaluronic acid is sieved into granules by the sieving method, and such granules also need to increase its lubricity to make it easier for doctors to push, so a small amount of free hyaluronic acid (non-cross-linked) is added to it. This kind of product containing both cross-linked hyaluronic acid and free hyaluronic acid is called biphasic hyaluronic acid.
Food for example, monophasic hyaluronic acid gel likes jelly, biphasic hyaluronic acid gel likes pudding.
